Primary Function:

This position is responsible for the development, execution, and enhancement of internal learning programs that align with the company’s goals and drive continuous improvement. The role involves leading the creation and management of comprehensive training initiatives, including overseeing all aspects of organizational development, change management, and employee development.


Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement learning and development strategies to enhance staff capabilities and align with DoD engineering industry standards.
  2. Design and deliver diverse training programs, including Instructor-Led Training, eLearning, workshops, and mentorship initiatives, ensuring they support business objectives.
  3. Collaborate with leadership, including the Chief Marketing Officer, to align L&D initiatives with organizational goals and strategies.
  4. Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of training programs, content, and delivery methods, ensuring continuous improvement.
  5. Expand the corporate training library to meet employee training requirements and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  6. Lead and facilitate change management initiatives, aligning them with company goals.
  7. Develop and utilize performance measurement tools to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Stay current with industry trends, integrating new learning approaches and technologies to enhance program delivery.
  9. Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it is optimized for efficient program management.
  10. Report on training program progress and organizational gaps to the President and Senior Leadership Team to support corporate growth and performance.

Work Conditions: 

The employee will primarily work in an office environment, with occasional travel as needed.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design or related field
  • 8+ years’ experience in Instructional Design or Organizational Development
  • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, or similar platforms
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required
  • Experience in Learning Management System Administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • US Citizenship

Preferred Requirements:

  • DoD Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Experience using Adobe Create Suite highly desirable
