An internal Quality System enforces Long Wave’s policies using CMMI and ISO guidelines. Long Wave is committed to becoming appraised and certified in the near future.
Long Wave participates in the NATE STAR Initiative to deliver tested and proven safety methods in the field. Utilizing NATE training materials and attending conferences, Long Wave team leaders implement knowledge obtained from both safety experts and other members to ensure proper implementation of all safety protocols. We share the results of our safety audits with NATE, which gives us a sounding board for their overall effectiveness in improving safety.
Long Wave is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all our employees, from office staff to tower climbers in the field. Prevention is the key to achieving an accident-free workplace. With a goal of Zero Accidents, Long Wave is proud to have a five-year record with no lost time due to accidents.
Safety is a fundamental value and an essential component in planning for our antenna projects. During pre-deployment reviews, Long Wave leaders identify potential safety concerns at upcoming job sites and develop mitigation plans. On-going training is required for our field employees, which has resulted in outstanding safety performance.
